Since its launch in the app stores in  2009, Muslim Pro has served millions of Muslims  worldwide, offering invaluable support to help them practice Islam, anytime, anywhere. As of May 2023, the  Muslim Pro app has been downloaded  more than 150 millions times worldwide.

In 2022, we launched ‘Qalbox by Muslim Pro,’ a new addition within the Muslim Pro App that allows our users to stream a wide range of Muslim-friendly content. Whether you’re into animations, documentaries, dramas, series, or action-packed movies, Qalbox has something to cater to everyone. Qalbox is available on the web app, mobile (Android and iPhone), tablets, Chromecast and now on Samsung Tizen TV, Android TV, and tvOS Apple TV.

This remarkable journey has been made possible through our key features, including the full audio of the Quran recited by renowned reciters like Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy, the Khatam feature, the accurate prayer time and prayer tracker, the Tasbih, and many more.

To share our excitement and gratitude, let’s take you on a journey through 10 fun facts about Muslim Pro that you might not be aware of:

1. In 2012, the Quran feature was launched.
2. In 2014, Muslim Pro hit its first 10 million downloads!
3. In 2016, the Tasbih feature was launched. It’s the first digital tasbih that mimicked the actual physical tasbih. In the same year, the Tajweed was added to the Quran to guide users to recite the Quran more accurately.
4. In 2018, Muslim Pro donated $10,000 to Muslim Hands for the Lombok Earthquake. In the same year, Muslim Pro have also been awarded with the Islam Economy Award.
5. In 2019, Muslim Pro expanded our collaborations to cater to our Indonesian users.
   1. We partnered with Quran ID to add Teuku Wisnu’s recitation to the Muslim Pro app for premium users.
   2. Muslim Pro also added popular young Qori from Indonesia, Muzzammil Hasbullah, for premium users’ adzan notification option.
6. In 2019, Muslim Pro hit 75 million downloads. Another milestone achieved!
7. In 2020, Muslim Pro was certified as an Islamic Digital Economy compliant company by MDEC.
   1. In the same year where the world was hit by COVID-19, Muslim Pro created relevant content assisting the community to navigate through this unprecedented time.
   2. Muslim Pro also partnered with Mercy Malaysia and DuitHape (Indonesia) to collect donations, zakat, and infaq for the unfortunate and vulnerable communities in Malaysia and Indonesia during the Covid 19 period. 
8. In Ramadan 2021, Muslim Pro launched the Khatam feature that allows individuals or groups to finish the entire Quran and achieved over 30,000 Quran completions.
9. In 2022, Muslim Pro also launched Qalbox, its global subscription video on demand (SVOD) entertainment streaming service that is available in the Muslim Pro app.
10. In 2023, Muslim Pro hit 150 million downloads, another huge milestone for us!
